VALERIE K. SNYDER

  Valerie graduated from Charlevoix High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, in English and Journalism from Adrian College. She obtained her juris doctor from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon in 1995. She is admitted to practice law in Arizona and Michigan. In addition, Valerie is involved in many civic and community activities. She has served on City Council and the Planning Commission for the City of Charlevoix, as well as on the Charlevoix County Board of Commissioners. She is a past Commodore of the Charlevoix Yacht Club and a former Chair of the Charlevoix County Community Foundation's Board of Trustees. Currently, Valerie serves as the Vice President of the Charlevoix Public Schools Board of Education and as a Board Member for Leadership Charlevoix County.

Valerie K. Snyder has been practicing law in Northern Michigan since 1996. With a broad base of experience in many areas of civil law, Valerie now focuses her practice on estate planning, probate and trust administration, and real property law, as well as business formation, contract disputes, and civil litigation and appeals.
